A little about the sculpture work
In this page is a selection of pieces that may still be available. I'll try to keep up and move them to the bottom of the page once they have sold.
You will find the expected Dragon Sculptures, but you will also find figurative works. You will find sculptures for your walls, or for a pedestal, for an end table or maybe a large fireplace hearth. you might be looking for something to decorate your office. I have available, sculptures ranging from a few inches and a couple pounds on up to several feet and over 800 pounds.
If you were hoping to find something specific and it just wasn't here. just use the contact form at the bottom of the page and we can talk. I welcome commission work, instead of just going where the mood takes me at the time I get to find greater meaning in the piece because I know it now has a story in it's relation to the person who is asking that it be created. To me there's something special in that.
Every one of my sculptures is a one of a kind unless otherwise stated. I use mostly epoxy clay or concrete. I can sculpt directly with the material that is the finished piece. I've learned to manipulate the epoxy clay so I can capture an image a few times but each one is slightly different in the Shrouded pieces...
What's "Shrouded" you ask? I Developed a technique where I could capture the essence of a soft clay sculpt without making a mod and giving you an exact copy but instead creating a whole new sculpture. Oh the original story of the soft clay sculpt is there but I get to tell it in a new way. in the end is a wall sculpture light enough to hang on your wall without having to reinforce it and you get to know the piece you see is the very one the artist himself put hands to, to bring into reality.

Shrouded Sculpture
the "Shrouded" sculpture is done utilizing a technique I worked out myself. What it essentially means is that this is not a traditionally sculpted then molded and cast three dimensional piece of art. instead I use a two part, chemical cure clay to capture the essence of a sculpt done with a soft clay. admittedly, when I sculpt them I do so knowing the way the epoxy clay acts when used in this way. It's not easy, but I love the fact that each is a one of a kind piece of art, and the one I work on is the very one that is going to be hanging for others to enjoy. There's value in that, just as there's beauty in the sculpture.

Large outdoor Sculpture
the Lady and her Lion
Sculpted directly in concrete and finished live at the "Underground" show here in Dallas. This Life sized, 800 plus pound piece of art work is looking for a home. If she were to stand up she would be five foot seven inches tall while he is five feet tall just lying there.
One of the nice things is I now know I can do so much more in both size and scale, as well as subject matter. Cause now I'm only limited by what my imagination can come up with... and just between you and me, that's not much of a limitation.
